Lodestake is one person's hand-picked portfolio of domain names, bought and held to be sold to the companies that will build on them. We pick names a founder can say once on a call and have spelled right: short, pronounceable, no hyphens, in the categories companies are being started in now — AI, fintech, health, climate, developer tools and consumer.
How prices are set
Each name has one fixed price, set by its length, how it sounds, its extension and how well it fits a category. Most sit in three bands: starter names around $490, brandable .coms around $1,490 and top-tier short .coms around $2,900. There's no auction, no "make an offer" form and no commission added at checkout — the price on the page is what you pay.
How the transfer works
After payment we unlock the domain and either push it straight into your registrar account or send you an auth code to start the transfer yourself, depending on your registrar. We start within one business day. Your order page tracks every step and is where you can message us. Once it shows up in your account, under your name, it's yours outright.
Fair dealing
- Only names we actually own are listed. If it's in the index, we can transfer it.
- No fake scarcity, no countdowns, no invented "interest from other buyers".
- If we can't complete a transfer, you get a full refund.
- You can delete your account and data yourself at any time from your settings.
